Welcome to my page! I hope to serve the people I work with by creating a space where people can be themselves unabashedly. When we exist in spaces where we feel heard, respected, and cherished, I truly believe that change comes naturally.

My practice is grounded in understanding and respecting differences in culture and identity, as I believe all people deserve to be seen for who they are. In spaces where people have traditionally been shunned or made to feel less than, I hope to offer a safe harbor. I have worked with many people with a broad range of worries and concerns. Some of these concerns include depression, anxiety, grief, identity concerns, processing emotions, and relationship difficulties. I also specialize in trauma work, particularly related to family of origin, racial trauma, or interpersonal, partner violence. I use scientifically supported interventions to guide all my interventions and seek to use them in a way that makes psychological concepts seem more down-to-earth. These can include thought and feeling-based techniques, but I also encourage exploration and re-creation of one’s narrative by whatever means are most helpful. By understanding what we tell ourselves and directly working with our life story, I believe that we can often change how we move about the world.

Through therapy with me, I hope to enrich one’s self-knowledge, develop self-compassion, and encourage them to live authentically, whatever that may mean. This process is often challenging, and incorporates genuine, often mutual, moments where we are vulnerable with each other. It has been and will continue to be a privilege to see people change, grow, and inevitably become the human that they wish to be.
