Psychological Services

We offer comprehensive psychological assessments for:

ADHD, Learning Disabilities (LD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and for general psychological concerns. Assessments are typically conducted over 1 to 5 appointments, beginning with an initial evaluation session focused on developmental and clinical history. A detailed written report is provided in a final feedback session, scheduled approximately 2–3 weeks after testing concludes.

What is Psychological Assessment?

Psychological assessment is evidence-based testing for specific difficulties you or your child may be experiencing. We provide testing for adults and minors who wish to know if Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders (such as dyslexia), Autism-spectrum diagnoses, or specific mood challenges (depression, anxiety, etc.) are impacting their lives.

Assessment at The Collective Healing Space begins with an in-depth interview of your symptoms and concerns, then continues with 2–3 additional appointments that will cover the main categories of functioning that can be impacted by these concerns. While the tests within the assessment might not seem like they obviously investigate some of these issues, every piece of the assessment is intentionally designed to help clarify one’s symptoms.

At the final appointment of the assessment process, you will receive a detailed report within 2–3 weeks explaining the purpose of each test, what your scores mean, and if there are applicable DSM-5-TR diagnoses based on your history and testing data.

1. Referral and Intake Process:

Referrals for psychological assessment can be made by a mental health professional, a primary care physician, or by individuals who wish to self-refer.

Before scheduling testing appointments, we strongly recommend an initial consultation call. During this call, we will discuss your needs, the referral question, and determine whether psychological assessment is appropriate. If appropriate, we will proceed with scheduling and payment for the initial evaluation session.

2. Assessment Fee and Payment Structure

Psychological testing can encompass a variety of concerns. Fees are calculated based on which specific areas of interest are being assessed. Below are the various pricing packages for our testing services.

When necessary, additional testing services may be offered after your clinician determines that it could be beneficial to achieve a more comprehensive report. These services would be added to the total fee of the psychological assessment. The additional fee will depend on which tests the clinician believes are most appropriate for your concerns. As soon as your clinician becomes aware of the utility of extra testing for your referral question, they will have a discussion with you about the feasibility of adding any additional fees/sessions to your evaluation.
